Introduction
The People & Purpose Behind Our Work
Tukee Foundation is a registered non-profit organization in Nepal dedicated to empowering single mothers. We believe every mother deserves a safe, stable home—and every child deserves a secure, loving environment. Our mission is simple: to build dignified, lasting homes for single mothers who are courageously rebuilding their lives.
We work closely with mothers, communities, donors, and volunteers to create more than just shelters. We create sanctuaries—spaces of hope, healing, and new beginnings.
Born from the urgent need for housing solutions for single mothers in Nepal, Tukee Foundation addresses the challenges these women face: housing insecurity, economic hardship, social isolation, and limited opportunities. We provide safe homes, vocational training, confidence-building support, and startup capital to help them achieve financial independence.
Many single mothers must choose between basic needs and their children’s education. We help remove these barriers so every child can learn and grow without limitations.
We also offer seed funding and land rights training—giving mothers real ownership, long-term stability, and the foundation for a dignified, independent future.

Dear Friends and Supporters,
It gives me great pride and heartfelt gratitude to share this message with you on behalf of the Tukee Foundation.
At Tukee, we believe in the power of community, compassion, and collective action. Our journey has always been rooted in the simple but profound idea that when we stand together, we can uplift lives, open doors to opportunity, and build a more equitable future for our single mothers and their children.
Over the past year, we have witnessed the remarkable impact of your support whether through building safe homes, empowering young minds, providing critical resources to underserved Single Mothers, or fostering sustainable development. Each step forward has been made possible by the unwavering dedication of our partners, volunteers, and donors who believe in our mission.
But our work is far from done. As we look to the future, we are more committed than ever to deepening our impact, expanding our reach, and addressing the challenges that persist in our communities.
